Singing note 38 - Bb below middle "C" (middle C is note 40)

Listen to the song first. Then choose one word to sing, like "Day" or "You" or "See" any word with just one syllable, then song along with the music like a real song, using only one word

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note B - below middle "C"

Listen to the song first. Chosse another word now, and sing along. Notice that the song has 4 notes and 1 long note. You can sing now a sentence, like "I just want to dance" or something like "You can sing with me" anything that has 5 syllables, 4 notes and the long note, 5 notes total

* The student must transpose this song

Singing notes 38 and 40 - Bb and C to sing this song you need two notes Bb and C

This song has 6 notes first 6 syllables, and then 5 syllables. So your lyrics must be 6 and 5 something like this

6 - "I like every morning"

5 - "Sing a song for you"

Try to write your own lyrics and sing along with this track. Anything that you sing, with 6 and 5 goes well with this song.

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 41 - C#

Listen to the song first. Write your lyrics. In this song you have 5 syllables. Think of a phrase with 5 syllables, here are some ideas:

"I just want to play"

"You can be my friend"

"Time is on your side"

"Blue is for the kids"

"Anything you want"

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 42 - D

You can also sing one octave lower, the note D below middle C, note 30

Listen to the low guitar notes, it has a rhythm that you need to sing along

This note is not high and also not low, anybody can sing this note, kids, adults, women and men alike, this is the easiest note to sing.

Also has 5 syllables, now try to sing for phrases, each phrase different, like:

"I can sing a song"

"one song every night"

"Songs I sing for you"

"because I love you"

And you can actually start to write your own songs

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 43 - Eb right above middle C (Usually for kids and women)

Singing note 31 - Eb below middle C (Usually for men or low voices)

I am using the numbers 40 is higher than 35. And 47 is lower than 43 like that. If I use number it will be easy for you to understand.

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 44 - E (Kids and women)

Singing note 32 - E (Men)

Slow song, with only 3 notes to sing. The same note D, three times. So your lyrics can be, like this:

"In my life"

"I have you"

"You're the one"

"I love you"

Or something else that make sense to you, a Christian song can be like this"

"Oh my Lord"

"Oh my king"

"you're the light"

"now I've seen"

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 45 - F (Kids and women)

Singing note 33 - F (Men)

Slow song, 4 notes and the long one. 5 syllables

You know what to do. if you don't, see the previews examples...

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 46 - F# (Kids and women)

Singing note 34 - F# (Men)

Strange rhythm, weird song. but you need to sing all kinds of music.

This one has a note, pause, another note, pause, and then three notes, total of 5 notes so you need 5 syllables.

At the end you end up singing 5 notes, just like the other songs, see how easy this is?

If you write a nice lyrics for this or any other song, you can send me the lyrics so I can put them in here.

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 47 - G (Kids and women)

Singing note 35 - G (Men)

Now a mariachi music, a happy song with 5 syllables. If you have been singing all vocal exercises, from A, B C and so on, you can tell that you are going higher and higher little by little.

Sing this note 45, then go back to Track A 05 and sing the song, you will notice how your voice is lower, because Track 05 is note number 36, and you are now on 45

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 48 - G# (Kids and women)

Singing note 36 - G# (Men)

In this song you can sing 3 syllables or 4, listen carefully.

You are now singing the note F sharp, or G flat. Higher than middle C if you are a woman or a kid, and lower than middle C if you are a man.

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 49 - A (Kids and women)

Singing note 37 - A (Men)

Now with a rock rhythm sing the note G, or "Sol"

For woman or kids, this note will be a little bit high, you will feel how you have to open your mouth more, and also have more power, or you may need to sing louder to reach this note. Do not "fake" your voice or try to "imitate" a highr sound like people in church. Sing with your natural voice, strong and loud, kind of screaming a little bit.

For men this note should not be a problem at all. (either note 35, or note 47)

Remember that note middle C is note 40, so 47 is G higher than middle C, and note 35 is the G lower than middle C

* The student must transpose this song

Singing note 50 - A# (Kids and women)

Singing note 38 - A# (Men)

For women this song is high, but usually all of them can sing this note. Note 48 Ab or LA Flat

Notice one thing, this song is exactly the same as song 05, is just one octave higer. Sing Track 05, and then Track 153, is the same song, one is lower, the other one is higher.

If you did all the exercises, you can actually sing 13 notes, one full cromatic scale, and now your job, is to master all these notes to sing thousands of songs.

* The student must transpose this song

This is the Bb Scale, you need to sing 8 notes

The best way to sing the scale is by saying the name of the notes, without the flats or sharps, just the main name, like this

"La, Si, Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol La...... La, Sol, Fa, Mi, Re, Do, Si La......."

From low to high, and then high to low

The actual notes for the Bb major scale are:

Sib - Do - Re - Mib - Fa - Sol - La - Sib

Or with letters in English

Bb - C - D - Eb - F - G - A - Bb

You are singing the notes 38, 40, 42, 43, 45, 47, 49, 50

Women

Your range is from 38 to 50

Usually good singers can sing from 33 to 53 if you are a woman or child

Great singers can go from 31 to 56 more or less

If you have a really deep voice or really low voice, you can sing this scale an octave lower

From 24 to 36
