Piano studies are the best to make your fingers stronger, faster, to work on time and flexibility for your hands. Piano studies will help you play piano much better. Choose a study and play it perfect, on time and with the right fingers. You can do one by one or play the ones that you like the best.

This is your first piano study. When you are learning to play the piano you need to play many studies. Piano studies are great and they are the most efficient way to learn how to play the piano properly. In this study you need to have the two hands ready, and even when you are playing only one note, is important that you play the notes on time, and with the right fingers. R.H. Use your thumb, and L.H. use your pinky.

In this study use your L.H. and play the finger number 3 in the note Sol (G), and notice that now you have two notes on your R.H. (Right Hand). Use fingers 1, and 2.

This is a great piano study for beginners, it plays the basic five notes, using both hands. Notice that the notes in the R.H. are going down, in a descending pattern, and the notes on the L.H. are going up, ascending pattern. Play four times each note. Here you have to use all five fingers of each hand. R.H. starts on the pinky, finger 5, and the L.H. starts also on the pinky finger 5.

The idea of this exercise is to help you cross your fingers over and under your thumb. This movement is very important, is the key to play scales and the piano in general. In the R.H. the second finger goes over the thumb, back and forth, and in the L.H. is the same pattern, the second finger goes over the thumb. Make sure you do that.

Here you have to play the same note Do (C), as a pedal note. as you keep you finger playing this note you have to move all the other fingers to play all the extra notes. Play one one first and then the other.

This exercise is to make the pinky and the ring finger stronger. Make sure you use the pinky and ring finger. Is easier if you use other finger, but the pinky must also get strong to play the piano right. Practice every exercise and study, as much as you need it, and then a little bit more. Get into the habit of playing at least one study every day.

The student requires 10 points in Piano Studies Classes

The teacher will choose 1 study from 1 - 10 and the student must play it without the video, just looking at the PDF sheet music.

They must play it correctly, respecting the value of the notes, and the rhythm. If they keep guessing, or they don't distinguish a half note from a whole note or a quarter note, they must study and re take the test another time.

After the student pass the test, they get 10 point towards their certificate. They need 300 points or 3 UNITS to receive a certificate.

Every test must be in the presence of a authorize CMC Music Teacher.
